Im Just getting started....

I will state it now. I am Liberal. I have Liberal beliefs, I support liberal leaders politicians and I generally believe Canada is based on liberal foundation. Unfortunately Canada's federal Liberal Party is headed by a man that I just cannot support. He is too distant, too one dimensional. Mr. Dion is obviously not my Prime Minister of choice, but I'd still vote Liberal if there was an election tomorrow.

Yes there is a growing trend of Canadians that believe the Environment is an important issue (I still believe that alot of this is media generated - many Canadians believe its important to improve how we treat the environment, but they aren't as radical as polls are set out to believe). Mr. Dion pushes environment, and its sad. Its obvious in his treatment of the Quebec issue. Wishy-washy. If you asked him if Quebec separatism would have a great effect on the environment im sure he'd have alot to say.

So you ask who leads the Liberal Party? Well the guy who came 2nd. Michael Ignatieff. Born in Canada, he has travelled the world, educated at Harvard he taught extensively on something many Canadians actually hold as important Canadian Values - Human Rights.

Sound Familiar? No? There was a certain Prime Minister who had similar background of internation travel, education and an overall flamboyant attitude. His picture is here.
